Interoperability Protocol
e-RPM is committed to maximizing the visibility and accessibility of its scientific content through the implementation of standard interoperability protocols. To facilitate harvesting and indexing by other distribution systems, digital archives, and discovery services, e-RPM uses the Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). This protocol allows service providers to harvest metadata from published articles in an automated and efficient manner. The primary address to access the e-RPM OAI-PMH access point is https://revista.investigaciondetecnologias.com/index.php/e-RPM. Through this interface, external systems can retrieve metadata in standard formats such as Dublin Core (or any other schema implemented by the journal).
Additionally, the journal incorporates relevant meta tags both on the journal's homepage and on the individual pages of each published article. These meta tags, located in the <head> section of the HTML code, include key descriptive information such as the article title, authors, keywords, abstract, and persistent identifiers (DOI, ORCID). These meta tags facilitate indexing and content discovery by search engines and other information systems, complementing the OAI-PMH protocol and improving the overall visibility of the e-Multidisciplinary Journal of Knowledge within the scientific information ecosystem.
